New job for students and others with side jobs

Many students and people with side jobs who lost their jobs in the Corona crisis have found new jobs again. In mid-April 2020, there were many job seekers and many people switched jobs, mostly forced by the Corona crisis. By mid-May, the percentage looking for another job dropped considerably. People who now have a have a job, are not moving. Only 6.6% of employed people and 4.5% employed people in the 45-plus category are still looking for another or new job in mid-May.

After 10 weeks a new job

We are now about 10 weeks into the crisis. Among the job seekers were from the beginning of the crisis many students, people with side jobs and young people under 30, most of whom found a new job after 10 weeks. Some stayed in their old jobs and worked back to the old number hours from before the crisis.
